Peace United Church of Christ has always been proud of its denominational heritage. As a church we were founded on the principles of the United Church of Christ—principles of radical love, extravagant grace, and open hospitality. Our faith is something we live out in our day-to-day life as we follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and listen for the God who is still speaking even here and even now. The United Church of Christ has a rich history. We are a denomination born in 1957 from the merger of the German Evangelical and Reform Church and the Congregational Christian Church, who trace their roots to those who journeyed to America on the Mayflower.
